Autumn Mock Examinations

Year 11 and Year 13
Dear Parents and Carers of Students in Year 11 and Year 13
Autumn mock examination timetable
All of our students in Year 11 and Year 13 will be completing mock examinations during the week beginning 13th October 2025 and 20th October 2025.
The mock examination timetable has been given to our students, and you can view a copy on our school website. Click here to view.
These exams have been designed by our teachers to test your child’s knowledge in preparedness for the final stages of their courses.
We will use the results to:
- help our teachers to plan targeted revision sessions for your child;
- where appropriate, help teachers to select the tiers in which students should be entered (Mathematics, Science, and Modern Foreign Languages);
- make set changes where students may benefit from an adjustment;
- report a grade on our school reference for students to use when they apply for Sixth Forms, colleges or apprenticeships; and
- give an opportunity for your child to practice their revision skills.
It is important that your child is prepared for this opportunity. Please support them by providing a quiet space to study in the evenings and weekends.
We will run examinations in formal conditions, and we will walk through the expectations with your child during the mock examination period. High standards of behaviour are required throughout. In addition to this, it is essential your child attends every day and on-time, so they do not miss out on this valuable experience.
We appreciate your continued support and wish all our Year 11 and Year 13 students sitting mock examinations the best of luck. Your teachers are right behind you, and they will be supporting you during this period.
Yours sincerely,
Mr G. Nandra
Assistant-Principal
