PSHRE at Waverley Secondary School

At Waverley, our PSHRE curriculum is designed to support students’ personal development, wellbeing and understanding of the wider world. We aim to provide a safe, inclusive space where young people can explore important topics such as relationships, health, safety, identity and their role in the community.

As part of our commitment to delivering high‑quality, age‑appropriate education, we will be working with Brook, a respected external provider specialising in relationships and sexual health education. Brook will deliver a small number of specific sessions within our curriculum to ensure students receive expert, accurate and sensitive guidance on key areas.

These are provided to help parents, carers and students understand the style and themes of the sessions, and to offer transparency about the curriculum.  You can also view our curriculum overview documents which show the themes and topics that children will learn about.
