Our School

The Government has announced that it will not publish any school or college level educational performance data based on tests, assessments or exams for 2020 in response to the Covid-19 outbreak. In line with this announcement, all results published via our websites are for the academic year 2018-2019.

As a result of their years of education with us, every single student in our Sixth Form was successful in securing either university entrance or degree level apprenticeships.

A Level Results: August 2019

  • The cohort more than doubled in numbers compared to the 2018 cohort and Waverley 6th form remains a very popular choice within the local area
  • The key accountability measures are: progress score, average grade and average points
  • The progress score was -0.45, the average grade was C- and the average point score was 25.15
  • All students have succeeded in attaining their next destination in post 18 pathways in higher education, on an apprenticeship course or in employment. All 57 students who applied for university places succeeded in gaining a place. 28 students gained their first choice place and 24 students gained a place via their insurance offer. The remaining pupils gained a place through the clearing process.
